Biblical Passage: Matthew 11:1-19

Memory verse: Matthew 11:5 “The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.”

Learning Goals: Students will discover how Jesus deals with the doubts that people experience.

Fuzzy Focus: Students will read Isaiah 41:10, Hebrews 10:23, Philippians 2:13 & 1 Peter 4:19.  Students will study God’s Character and focus on Jesus and the guidance of the Holy Ghost so they won’t lose sight of Him in times of struggle and doubt.

Read Matthew 11:4–6. Locate the six pieces of evidence that Jesus gave to identify Himself to John the Baptist as the Messiah.
