CODE OF CONDUCT
At least one parent from each member family and each participating student shall sign that they have read, or had explained to them, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
In light of current issues with sexual orientation and gender identity, this code of conduct is addressing these issues upfront: (1) dressing in conformance with one’s biological sex; (2) using the restrooms, locker rooms, and changing facilities conforming with one’s biological sex; and (3) abstaining from all intimate sexual conduct outside the marital union of one man and one woman. Please read our school’s statement on marriage, gender, and sexuality to explicitly state why this conduct is Biblically required.
Warning: Ky’Ijel Group Christian Academy has the right to discipline or ask a student to withdraw for any reason, but that failure to comply with expected standards of conduct will subject the student or employee to potential disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion or dismissal.
I will treat others with kindness and respect as Jesus would.
I will honor those in authority with prompt and cheerful obedience.
I will be on time to all classes and activities.
I will have my homework done in a timely manner and before the class when it is due starts.
I will treat worship, prayer and class discussion with proper seriousness.
I will treat school materials and facilities with respect and care.
I will dress appropriately and modestly at all class and activities.
I will not use unwholesome speech, gestures, or artistic renderings at school and activities. My words, deeds, and artistic creations are to be pleasing to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am willing to be held accountable for my own actions and will lovingly hold others accountable for theirs.
I acknowledge that any disciplinary action necessary at school and activities shall be administered by the school’s administration, or the person in charge of the class and/or activity. Any misconduct shall be reported to the Principal or teacher in charge of the class or activity as soon as possible.
I understand that parents are responsible for their own children and we are here to assist and help facilitate their education. Parents may not drop them off in a mindset of daycare or a public school mentality. Parents are required to be involved in the education of their children. A parent may enroll their child (or children) as long as the parent agrees to remain actively involved and is willing to accept full responsibility for all their child’s spiritual and academic growth.
